Free Tumbling Class
Anyone not currently enrolled at South Mississippi Elite may participate in a free tumbling class. There is no obligation and it will give you a chance to meet our staff and tryout a class.
No Obligation
Our class program runs on a month-to-month basis. If, at anytime, you would like to take a break, your only obligation is to notify the front desk. Your registration fee is good for a full year, so if you would like to come back, all you need to do is give us a call and select a class.
Make-Up Classes and Class Changes
Missed classes may be made up by contacting the front so that an appropriate time and day my be scheduled.
Registration and Tuition
There is a $45 registration fee that is good for one year. Classes are $55/month for all non all-star athletes and $35/month for all-star athletes. Each additional class is $40/month. All payments are due on the 1st of the month. Payments received after the 10th of the month will be charged a $10 late fee and not allowed to participate until balance is paid in full. Any payments resulting in a NSF (non-sufficient funds), declined credit card, returned check, etc. will be charged a $30 service charge.

Tumbling classes at South Mississippi Elite are available at all levels for anyone potty trained and up.
Beginner Class
Designed for all new athletes who want to get started in tumbling. These athletes will work on the fundamentals of body control, along with standing and round off back handsprings.
Intermediate Class
Designed for athletes who want to work on multiple standing and round off back handsprings. You must have both a standing and round off back handspring to enter this class.
Tuck class
Designed for athletes who are working on standing back tucks, round of back tuck and layouts. You must have both standing and running three back handsprings to enter this class.
Layout / Full Class
Designed for athletes who are working on full twists, double full twists, Arabians, whips, and other specialty tumbling. You must have a standing tuck to enter this class.
Coed Stunt
Designed for athletes who are working on the form and technique of the coed stunting. This class is designed to teach athletes how to partner stunt and fly on college cheerleaders. This is a great class for anyone interested in coed stunting, coed flying, and trying out for college cheer. There are no requirements for this class.
Jump Class
Designed for athletes who are working on jump technique and improving form, control and heigth of jumps. Athletes that tumble will also work on tumbling out of various jumps. There are no requirements for this class, except get ready to have a work out.
Flyer/Stretch/Tech Class
Designed for athletes who are working on the flexibility and form of the art of flying. This class is designed to teach athletes how to stretch and control their bodies while in the air and on the ground. There are no requirements for this class.
Flyer/Jump Class
Designed for athletes who are wanting to work both jump technique and form the art of flying. This class is a combination of the techniques of both the Flyer and Jump Class. There are no requirements for this class.
Tryout Preparation Class
Designed for athletes who are interested in trying out for Cheerleading. This class is a combination for Jump, Motions, spirit, and tumbling techniques. The class also prepares each individual of the correct procedures of a tryout. This is a great way for anyone who is interested in trying out for his/her school. There are no requirements for this class.
